Petzl IRVIS UNIVERSEL crampons
These crampons are distinguished by their compactness. Not only are they ultra-light, but their compact front blocks make them easy to move around, and guarantee optimal cramponing for small to medium-sized boots. They also feature the ANTISNOW anti-slip system, which prevents the formation of snow clogs.
These crampons are made of steel for maximum durability , and are equipped with 10 points for stability on snow and ice, and 2 wide front points for load-bearing capacity on snow. The length of the spikes has been specially designed to provide precise support while guaranteeing perfect cramponing. Crampon length can be easily adjusted without tools.
Developed with an ALPEN ADAPT interchangeable fastening system, they are compatible with all boots, with or without overhang, and with all activities: LEVERLOCK UNIVERSAL for boots with rear overhang. Parts such as cleats, front blocks, fastening system and anti-dipping system can be changed on their own. Irvis crampons can be converted to technical mountaineering crampons using SARKEN front blocks.
