Light on the uphill, weighing in at just under 3 kg, Faction 'sAGENT 1 also delivers a good power-to-weight ratio on the downhill. If you prefer a modern shape with a heel that favors a tonic exit from turns, theAGENT 1 is for you. It will also suit you perfectly if you tend to ski touring in variable snow conditions, less frequently in powder.
With a Karuba wood core and carbon weave for added stiffness and stability,AGENT 1 offers excellent flex and vibration absorption. Between 8 and 12 strips of carbon, sandwiched on either side of the ski's wooden core, are arranged in a unidirectional manner, offering additional stability to the ski, without adding bulk to the construction. Each carbon strip is woven into the fiberglass to provide strength and rigidity along the entire length of the ski.
Its double rocker combined with traditional camber ensures perfect stability and floatation in soft snow.
The elliptical sidecut features a longer radius underfoot and shorter radii in the tip and tail . The long radius underfoot means you can pivot faster and easier, while a shorter radius in the tip and tail makes it easier to initiate turns. This sidecut allows a wide variety of turn lengths, angles and positions.
