ORB FREEBIRD touring skis by Black Crows are available from Speck-Sports.
A perfect compromise between skiability and lightness, the Orb Freebird will give you the best of both worlds.
For lightness, the Orb Freebird uses a paulownia wood core to weigh just 1350g in 173. For skiability, the ski is reinforced with glass and carbon fibre and has a titanium plate under the foot to adapt to the new bindings. As a result, the Orb Freebird is a powerful, responsive ski that's agile on all types of terrain, thanks in part to its 90mm runner.
The double rocker gives this ski a playful edge, making it easier to pivot. This shape also makes it easier to get out of the powder and initiate turns with less effort.
The ORB FREEBIRD by Black Crows is a manoeuvrable touring ski, efficient on both the ascent and descent, designed for good skiers.
