Petzl DUO Z2
Powerful with 430 lumens in BOOST mode, the DUO Z2 headlamp is battery-powered. Waterproof and robust, it's ideal for demanding sports such as caving, orienteering or cycling. Featuring Petzl's patented FACE2FACE anti-glare function, the DUO Z2 headlamp lets you face each other without glare, making group activities more comfortable.
Description
- Four modes and a BOOST to adapt lighting to any situation:
- close-range lighting: wide beam with low intensity for long range,
- close-range lighting: mixed beam with intensity adapted to comfortable close-range vision,
- travel lighting: mixed beam with a focused component for efficient direction finding,
- far vision: a highly focused beam for seeing into the distance,
- bOOST mode for occasional access to the maximum power of 430 lumens. - Robustness :
- waterproof to -1 metre for 30 minutes in freshwater,
- excellent resistance to drops, knocks and crushing. - Safety and comfort when working in groups, thanks to the FACE2FACE anti-dazzle function: enables people using lamps in the DUO range to face each other without being dazzled, by automatically lowering the light output when two or more beams are facing each other.
- Reliability and ease of use:
- balanced port thanks to the remote energy box at the back of the head,
- large, ergonomic button that can be operated even when wearing gloves,
- automatic locking to prevent accidental switching on during transport/storage,
- automatic switch to reserve mode when batteries are almost empty. - Can be fitted to all types of helmet, using the PRO ADAPT self-adhesive plates available as accessories.
- Detachable, washable headband.
