Bindings Marker DUKE PT 16 Black / Gun Metal

The new DUKE PT 16 bindings by Marker is now available at Speck-Sports.

The performance of a Jester with the ease of use of an insert binding, all in one product.

This binding is simply stunning in its ability to combine an alpine binding with a touring binding. In walk mode, the front stopper pivots forward to reveal the inserts. The upper part of the stopper is removable to reduce weight when climbing. (1050g/binding in uphill versus 1350g in downhill).

The Lock & Walk multifunction unit locks the stop-ski and uses it as a wedge with a 10° inclination.

When descending, the front stop and its Auto Quad Block technology ensures a four-point locking for better transmission. Magnesium supports are also found at the stop and heel area to increase strength.

There is also a sliding plate at the front that allows the binding to be adapted to alpine ski boots (ISO 5355), touring ski boots (ISO 9523) and Gripwalk boots.

The Inter Pivot 3 Freeride heel piece has been completely redesigned to improve transmission and power, reduce vibration and improve elastic travel, all while making the boot easier to put on.

Finally, a rail on the heel stop allows you to scrape the ice under the sole as well as anti-friction AFD pads that guarantee a release without the influence of dirt, snow or ice.

Simply put, the DUKE PT 16 by Marker will impress you with its lightness on the way up and its performance in terms of transmission on the way down.
