Ortovox DIRACT avalanche transceiver
Ortovox has unveiled its new DIRACT avalanche transceiver, featuring 3 antennae and patented Smart Antenna technology. This technology analyses the position of the device in the avalanche and automatically switches to the best transmitting antenna. This gives you twice the range, improving and speeding up the search phase.
Although this device does not have voice navigation, it will provide acoustic and visual assistance to help you in your search.
Ortovox Diract is simple and intuitive to use. One button is all you need to mark victims or put it on standby.
In the event of an avalanche, this avalanche transceiver will automatically switch between search and standby mode, and transmission mode. The display offers a real-time 360° view and is easy to read, even in low light conditions.
Weighing just 210 grams, DIRACT is easy to carry. It also has grip zones to make it easy to hold.
The RECCO® reflector integrated into the carrying system gives you an extra option for finding your way around.
What about load capacity? The Diract has a special low-temperature rechargeable battery: even in extreme temperatures, the battery provides you with reliable power.
